You might recognize Sherri L Smith as an occasional performer at the Texada Island Inn when she is in town, raising funds for charity through her music. She also gigs around the Comox Valley and has a Twitch TV program where she live streams interactive music performances every Thursday and Saturday on https://Twitch.tv/sherrismithmusic.
Sherri is excited to announce her first CD release of her original songs this past May 2023. She has spent the last few years getting back to playing guitar and writing her own folk and country tunes, which are now published on music streaming services.
Sherri grew up listening to 70’s Folk-Rock – Roots Revival and is inspired by Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Gordon Lightfoot.

She is married to a local hometown boy, Lloyd Smith, whose family has been on Texada since the late 1800’s.
