AFTER AUGUST is a seven piece band from Lund, BC. This West coast Indie rock band has a modern sound with undertones of southern rock, punk, rhythm, and blues. Drummer, Dan Vandelaar, and friend Jamie Markel, started the band in 2018, later joined by song writer, Al Stepaniuk. Stepaniuk joined the band as the lead guitarist, primary song writer, and front man.
In 2019, Gitta May Nielsen joined as their lead vocalist and co-writer. Winner of The Shot season 6, Nielsen has fronted many bands over the last decade, this being the first solely made up of original material.
